Looking for advice on FX8350 Motherboard

Physc

Since, I'm on a tight budget I need to get a motherboard for my FX8350 at around $150~160 NZD (that is around $100~120 in USD)

Currently I have decided on these two a 970 Chipset since I won't do crossfire/SLI setup.

http://www.gigabyte.co.nz/products/p...px?pid=3907#sp

These two provide that front USB3.0 ports which I do need since I'll be using an external USB3.0 drives for backup, storage etc.

The only difference between the two that I can find is that Gigabyte is a 8+2 phase power and ASUS is a 4+2 phase power. I'm not sure yet but later on I might OC my FX8350 to decent clockspeed, so would that 8+2 and 4+2 power matter at all?

OR, if there is any other alternatives that I should consider then please recommend me :D

Thanks.

If its from ASRock, Asus, Gigabyte, or MSI you will be fine. Just get one from one of those companies with all the features you like. The difference in overclocking on that budget is minimal at best.

Im thinking on building an AMD system for myself, and i've decided to go with the ASUS M5A97 EVO R2.0, the difference is that the EVO has Dual Intelligent Processors 3 with New DIGI+ Power Control, thats a really nice feature if you are going to OC later. Check it at
