watercooling my gpus

im thinking of using a kraken g10 and an aio to wc my gpu, right now under full load my top gpu is about 84-85 degrees while bottom one sits on 65-70. wondering if its worth wc just the top card or is air cooling algoods? for some reason when i try add mhz and oc my gpus, adding any mhz or increasing power limit to 110% actually decreases my fps? help? my cpu only goes up to like 90 % usage at most while both gpus at 99%. this is for all games and benchmarking programs too like 3d strike/valley/heaven

I'd say that i5 is bottlenecking your cards. I'd change the CPU for a SLI setup and invest in better cooling afterwards.

A i5 doesn't bottleck 980/980ti sli.. why would it bottleneck sli 780ti then?

only reason to provide extra cooling would be if the top card is throttling due to

heat (bottom card will always be cooler). otherwise, it'd be a minor upgrade.

In 1080p even my 5930k @ 4.5ghz is bottlenecking my 980ti's... what are you talking about?

Then you have a problem it seems like, I can run my work rig with a 5820k @4.3ghz and dual titans blacks without no problem @1440p

Yes, 1440p is fine, 98%+ usage on the gpu's. 1080p gets only 60-75% gpu usage per card in most games. CPU's have a hard time keeping up above 160-180fps it seems.

You don't play games at 160-180 fps, it has issues with stuttering and tears no matter what set up you have. 144hz is the top of the line for monitor refresh rate. (there is a 160hz  but it came out like 3 days ago)

neither an i5 nor a 5930k can bottleneck your GPUs by any chance in terms of hardware raw performance power.
It could be overheating, game coding, driver optimization.
