I don't know about that site, but I wanted to let you know that I ran a 970 on a 500w system as my daily driver for months.
Never had any issues, only reason i upgraded is because i went SLI.

I stumbled across UserBench the other night while browsing graphics card to complete my system. I compared a R9 290, R9 380, R9 270x. Then some Nvidia cards like the GTX 960, 970, and 980. Trying to find the best bargain for my 1080p rig for 2015 fall release season. To the point, I want to know if I can trust their percentile system and ratings. I did notice that there was no regard in power consumption in ANY of the comparisons. Which is a huge problem for someone who cannot upgrade their 500w psu to accommodate a R9 290 (ME). 

 

Please point me in the correct direction as I am new to PC building and I do not want to mess up my first build with a poor gfx card.

Higher frame rate over higher resolution.

Thanks! I've decided on the R9 380 for its pricing and performance. Starting another semester soon so I can't afford to get a gtx 970 yet.

I hear good things about the 380's, definitely an awesome choice for the money.
