There is no "best" its completely personal preference, like I love browns so thats what I use, I find them a good balance for typing and gaming (I use a g710+)

My experience:

Coding - Cherry Mx Blue

Because clicky sounds and tactile feedback are always a great combination

Tried and tested by many keyboard enthusiasts

Gaming and Coding - Cherry Mx Brown

Balance between linear and tactile feedback

While having a lighter sound than blues

My recommended brands:

Ducky, DAS and Filco - Quality

Corsair or Logitech - Looks great while maintaining quality

CoolerMaster or Logitech - Great budget options

The different switches are very personal to the individual. Personally I like the browns but everyone has there own opinions and I recommend going out and trying a couple swithces firs or order a switch tester to find out what you like and what feels comfortable to you. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/cherry-mx-switch-tester http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/index.php/wasd-6-key-cherry-mx-switch-tester.html

I personally prefer using Blacks for typing/coding and Red for gaming. That's more personal preference of not having to really even press the key in to get it to register. It's mainly down to how light you prefer your key presses and how much tactile feedback you enjoy.

For the actual keyboard I personally only go for Ducky, currently using the Ducky Shine 3 but I am waiting for the Ducky Shine 5 as I didn't get a good enough deal to justify getting the 4.
