Have you tried uninstalling all the drivers, then installing the non beta ones first? Try doing that, test the current stable drivers and see if there is any issues, then move on to the next step, uninstall the stable drivers and install the beta drivers, test them again, if the same error appears then you'll have to try and wait for a stable release. Don't forget to send a bug report if so.

did that, sent the report, however, just noticed a windows update for dot NET 4.5 that i havent installed.  I remember that being part of the driver, perhaps that was the problem, i will report back when done.

Well then there's not really much I would fiddle about with it, the drivers are still in Beta, so it isn't going to be working for everyone, it may just be a windows issue itself.

The best way to find out is doing a fresh install onto a blank hard drive, while unplugging your current one, if the issue doesn't happen there, well...then that is that I guess?

Also, does this happen to every game? Or just some games?

update.... it is not only in games that this happens, when i opened gpu z to take another look, it happened! So it appears that it happens whenever the gpu is accessed.

Hmm, do you have another computer lying around to test? I would try sticking that card into another computer, and see if it still runs at 99%, if so, then it might be the cards issue. Have you ruled out that is it afterbuners issue?

the thing is, it works perfectly in 13.6 beta 2, and no, this is my only desktop.

EDIT: i should also mention that temps do go up when this happens, so its not just a sensor error.
