3 of the exact same parts as me you cheeky devil ;) people say that psu is bad but I have one and its good, especially for the price in the uk.

I'd go with 16GB or a Single 8GB instead of 2 4GB.

Yup. Single 8GB stick would be nice so he can upgrade later. Won't notice a difference in performance when it comes to gaming until then.

I would get a R9 390, 4.5 more GBs of vram and it out preforms the 970, same price
