What I'm thinking, (already have a hdd) could go up to £450 and willing to buy used.

http://myanimelist.net/animelist/VLRose I like anime, I'm missing at least 50 off this list.

R9 390, i5 6400, 8GB Ram

Keep in mind the mobo and RAM doesn't have a price tag on PCPP. So they will add additional cost to the whole PC aswell.

EDIT: For some reason it didn't take me to the original build and I changed some random stuff, disregard this post.

Looks solid for that price. Now if the motherboard was a bit better I'd call it a deal. The Gigabyte Z87X-UD4H is ofc a bit mroe expensive but it would match the theme.

who cares...

Perhaps get an ssd in your build?

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

Meh, H440 is only good for looks.

and noise levels.

But if hes building a black and red theme, clearly looks are a factor to him.

They're a factor, maybe, but the airflow in the H440 sucks (so I hear)

No it's not. Why the overkill Z97 mobo?

It was cheap.

its not god awful.

Is it going to be as much as a case thats not focused on noise levels? No of course not, but its a well balanced trade off.

But if your goal is get as much air though the case as you can ya it leaves alot to be desired.

that might be true, to be honest I just seen oh red and black I know 2 things that will help with that and didnt look at costs. Well they are options if he wants to save up but ya you have a point.

That looks like a solid build, however I only need it for gaming so having a processor £10 less than the gpu seems pointless.

I do like the h440 but it's 75 or so pounds so really pointless imo when i can do the same with case fans.

Good, although maybe buy a 212 evo and another fan to go on top of it

Considering the fact it can't be overclocked that would have to be a later upgrade.

Thanks to everyone for your feedback, in the next week or so this will move to the build logs sub forum.

It's JUST better than the 290 and is not worth the extra $50.

I was going to go for a dark rock pro 3 and add another sickle flow on to it down the line.

Get the i5 it is the most meaningful thing when considering games.

If you want to save up a little more and get a £200 GPU then do that, but keep the i5.

Really? From the looks of this

the i5 bottlenecks without a powerful card.
