Reliable Card Readers - Internal or External

Hello all. Up until now, I was using a Vantec UGT-CR-920 external USB 2.0 multi card reader, but the USB connection started getting loose and it stopped making a solid connection with my PC. I'm curious which card readers everyone has used or is using as I'm looking to get a new one. I mainly use it for SD cards and the occasional Memory Stick. Pretty open to internal or external; however, my 500R doesn't have an external 3.5" bay, so I'd need a 5.25" adapter if such options are being suggested. Let me know what you got!
