Mini Display Ports.

Never heard of a monitor having them so what are they?

Some displays have them. I do not think there is a difference between regular and mini DisplayPort besides size. Mini's may be used because some video cards(like AMD cards) can output six displays, and regular DisplayPorts are too large, so they use the mini version to fit more on the card. Some cards only have mini DisplayPorts on them.

I hate the mini on my 7970. the connection is so flimsy >:(
basically it's just a mini display port lol
