2 way Titan z's vs 3 way water cooled 980s.

Hey,

For a new build I am thinking of getting either dual gtx titan zs, or triple water cooled gtx 980s. I am unsure which one to get since the last time I posted this I got unclear/mixed awnsers.

I will run a triple moniter ASUS VG248QE setup.

I am looking to run games like batllefrield 4 and crysis etc at 1080p at high-ultra sets.

Titans are not gaming cards go for 3 980's.... But really for 1080p you can get away with 1 980gtx, SLI is overkill as hell for 1080p

The 980s are better for gaming and if you are going to go for 3 then you could even run 4k in the future. Titan are for rendering and stuff like that, not really worth it for just gaming.

In your other thread, you asked "Dual Titan Z's or 980." I took that as two Titan Z's as the Titan Z is a dual GPU card, therefore dual Titan Z's would give 4 Titan Blacks essentially.

3 980s. Titan Z's don't make sense.

If there is proper SLI scaling on the games you're playing then Dual Titan Z beats 3x980s.

For benchmarking? Dual Titan Z will blow away 3x980s by a huge margin.

Titan Z is basically dual Titan Black(which is 780Ti with double VRAM) so... The answer is quite obvious.

Titan Black is also includes 64 bit compute capability.
