What does Nvidia offer?

Go to solution Solved by Shaqo_Wyn,

Anything you want big boy. ;)

Serious answer: PhysX, G-Sync, lower TDP, good price to performance with the GTX 970.

Check out their website to see all the features.

Nvidia GPU's come bundled with free games too.

P.S: don't forget MotherF* AA

For example amd offers "free" games together with their graphics cards and stuff.

What makes it worth buying nvidia compared to amd when you get extra games with graphics card and it's not much difference in gaming performance.

To keep it clear this is not team red vs team blue.

I am just interested in learning more what nvidia offers.

What do they offer?

Why do you choose nvidia and what's your experience with their graphics cards?

and is geforce experience similar to amd's raptr/gaming evolved?

This guy is just trolling people, he's just about AMD and trolls me on a AMD topic. Nvidia are just better GPUs, I'll not swap my parts that will be using for years just because they give me some games that I would pay for way less then a year and moving on to others games.

How have I been trolling you?

All I wanted was for you to keep it relevant aka keep to the topic. For example like you are doing now, it's not about what you feel.

"Nvidia are just better GPU's".

That's not a fact that's an opinion. Explain why you think it's better.

I'm not saying nvidia is better, but I prefer them. All my cards have been nvidis and have never failed. So I just stick with them.

I've noticed AMD is more on the fundamentals of gaming, like how TrueAudio is circumventing what Vista did to sound processing, and Mantle is trying to make CPU overhead a thing of the past.

NVIDIA is more on eyecandy and miscellaneous things, like PhysX, HBAO+, and my personal favorite ShadowPlay.

The approaches are different, but I wouldn't say one is better than the other. It's all personal preference.

TBH, for an average gamer like me, G-sync is completely useless since the monitors themselves are priced insanely high.

There is a reason and meaning behind the fact that Gimmicks and Physx sound similar . That's all you are getting extra from nvidia.

I like the geforce experience, PhysX, drivers have been good and bad, I like the lower power consumption, they run cooler, at least from what I've seen. etc etc.

And i just don't see a reason to switch.

I enjoy Nvidia because their stock coolers are pretty. I prefer efficiency over performance.

I like green better than red. I like ShadowPlay. I like GeForce experience.

I like PhysX. I like their company morals and focuses.
