What kind of WiFi card should I get?

SuperJeRoT

So, I'm kind of a noob when it comes to networking and I gues this is a good place to ask.

I have wifi router and want to conect my computer wirelesly to internet.
My computer is not that good- athlon 64 x2 5600+ @2.9ghz ; 2 gigs of ram etc.
The internet speed is 160 kilobytes when downloading and maybe 20 up.

So not that fast either... :(

I heard that it is posible to get a small, usb flash size, wifi receiver but I am sceptical about it, and I want to spend as little as posible.

Should I get that or buy a internal network card and anthena?

Is it going to cause my (already not that fast) internet conection to run slower or it does not going to cause bottlenecks?

Does it get hot when using, and does it cause internet to stop working often or not at all?

Edimax EW-7811Un for a Small one, stops you from snapping it off, Edimax makes some decent consumer gear.

"There's no test like production!"
