Little while line at the bottom of laptop screen

Recently my laptop has been getting a white line at the bottom of the screen that stretches to opposite sides. It appears suddenly and mostly when I browse YouTube. It even stays when I open any game or discord. It usually goes away when I restart it. Does anyone know what this is and how to fix it?

Sounds like a panel defect. How old is the laptop and has it sustained any drops?
