cpu fan spins but no post

i have a system which i had to transfer to a new case. 

the specs are

cpu i3-7100 with iGPU

mobo gigabyte h110 s2h

crucial 8 gb ram

when i turn on my pc after connecting every hardware component, the cpu fan turns on and the mouse led glows but no post to the monitor. what are the possible solutions?

is it beeping or showing some sort of post code on a number display?

absolutely nothing since i changed the case. no display to the monitor. so i have no idea what is going on.

You should see if you connected all the power connectors properly (cpu and 24 pin) and ram. Check that the cmos pins are not shorted (see the manual). Maybe disconnect the power button and restart button connector and use a screwdriver or something to short the power button pins (usually lableled something similar to pw sw) to start the machine. That last one once happened to me and it took me a day to pinpoint the culprit, because it was something i never check.
