Hello. I am new to this forum and have been seeking an answer for hours.

 

I was updating my firmware on this device and the USB dongle slipped out after a single nudge my laptop received. The update was halted, and as a result, my LGP refuses to turn on. No computer, no PS3, it makes no difference, it won't turn on. Avermedia's customer support is really lacking on this issue, so please help. Is my LGP dead? Is there a solution? Many thanks in advance.

Sad but true, Failing to complete a BIOS flash is fatal in 99 percent of cases.

 

Before the Update it would have warned you to not disconnect.

 

As far as I am aware nothing can be done without physically replacing the BIOS chip. On a device like this that not feasible either.

 

Its dead :(
