Is Razer synapse 3 spyware?

I am looking for a new mouse and I really like the look of then Razer Basilisk mercury edition. I just want to make sure that I can change the RGB colors without letting Razer know EVERYTHING I do on my PC, I know that synapse 2 was deemed "Spyware" by the community because in the user agreement it states that Razer can collect any info about the computer and any web pages i visit. So that is why I am hesitant. Any help is much appreciated.

I don’t think something is less intrusive  just because other people are doing it.  increased frequency of a behavior doesn’t make it ok it makes it a bigger problem.  I stopped buying razor stuff not because of intrusive software but because I bought two seperate mice from them both of which broke within months and both because for some unknown reason they were using plastic springs on their mouse buttons.  If they were super cheap mice they might have been excused for super cheapness but they weren’t. They were quite expensive mice.  They may have fixed this issue (I kinda hope so)

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
