Raspberry Pi4 3.5" touchscreen help

vong

Hi all,

Just got a Raspberry Pi4 with a 3.5" touch screen and cannot get the damn thing to work. I followed the guide given by the seller and keep ending up with a rainbow screen after reboot and it's driving me mad since I have to reflash the SD card all the time. What's the deal? Seems like the commands worked as they should.

Which model and manufacturer is it? I bought the one from Jun Electronics, and they supplied instruction how to get the drivers or, if that fails, an image of the OS with their drivers in the Amazon page.

Give it a try even if your model is different, I think those cheapo screens are pretty generic.

Just copypasting that here (it's in Italian but should be straightforward to decrypt):

Passaggio 1: installazione del file immagine ufficiale Raspbian:

2. Esegui i seguenti comandi
sudo rm -rf LCD-show
git clone https://github.com/goodtft/LCD-show.git
chmod -R 755 LCD -show
cd LCD-show /
sudo ./MHS35-show
