Internet cuts out when landline is answered or hangs up

If it's DSL then you need filters on the phone lines. Your ISP might have provided some but you can pick them up yourself as well:

Hi. For some reason, whenever I answer or hang up the landline in my house, the internet cuts out for a minute or two. I dont think this is just wifi because my PC which is connected using ethernet ie effected. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?

how is the cable between you router and phone line connected

Thanks... I had one of these attached for the router but not the main phone, just done that now and has fixed it. Thanks from reminding me
