Fortnite download slower than other games

I am trying to install a fortnite update and it keeps going to 0 mb/s to 5 mb/s but when i am downloading or updating another game on epic games launcher it always stays at 10 mb/s is this because everyone is playing fortnite? it takes me like 10-15 minutes to install a freaking 2 gb update on fortnite

Yes, it's probably a symptom of the large userbase, especially if you download the update right as it drops.

Yeah because i noticed downloading ark survival evovled was fine but fortnite updating was horrible at 1 mb/s where ark was around 10 mb/s which is my internet speed
