mirror's edge lag issue

i pirated mirrors edge catalyst. i have a decent gaming pc. but the games keeps lagging every 5 sec or so. i have tried with every thing set to low bt it still lags.

Don't pirate games then. You're literally asking for issues

I get that, but games aren't a necessity. If you can afford a "decent gaming PC" then you should really be able to set aside some cash to be able to pay the developers of your favourite games for their hard work. Plus it means you don't open your PC up to a plethora of issues that you would not get if you only bought legitimate software
