ATX power supply with AT connector

Why some of my old ATX power supplys have one of the AT connectors? I cant use it to power AT boards i thing or is ir possible?

It's not an AT power connector.

 

But good for you for being old enough to remember what those AT connectors looked like.  😉

 

Before ATX12V came out and CPU voltage regulation moved to regulating the +12V, the six pin AUX connector would provide the additional +3.3V and +5V that the 20-pin wasn't robust enough to deliver.

Thank you. Ive found a picture of that kind of MB but ive never seen one before. Ive seen a lot of power supplys with that connector but ive never seen MB with it. Why? Were they uncommon?
