Help with Archer AC1200 resetting!

SpassySpazz

So, I've gone through another layer of hell of trying to port fowarding on an old modem, though in the process, I've somehow screwed up my personal modem. I've tried to factory reset it, though all the previous configuration is gone and the default login—user and password: admin, admin—not working. Another interesting note is that the default SSID is set to "BlazingFast-TIME" instead of the usual Tp-Link's "TP-Link_M5_XXXXXX". I'd really appreciate it if anyone can help me sort this mess out.

When you say 'modem', I assume you're talking about 'router'.

That's an interesting little predicament. Your router might have been hacked. Thankfully, you can always press and hold the reset button at the back of the router to return all settings to defaults, then log in to make your customizations. I would suggest you immediately change the admin password to something stronger and apply WPA2-AES security/encryption with a strong WiFi password before your router is compromised again.
