PC low performance ?

Current build is AMD ryzen 1600x

Asus prime x370 

GTX 1660TI

16gb 2x8 2666mhz

I have tried to trouble shoot windows by using sfc/ scannow, and also used chkdsk, 

then decided to give my pc a clean to make sure wasnt a temperature issue

Following that I found no issues that I could find however,

In games such as BF1/BFV/CSGO/PUBG for instance Ive noticed especially in CSGO a very drastic drop in performance from around 180-200fps on 1080p to almost half this with high spikes and low lows 

Please any advice would be great thanks

Update bios, OC CPU and RAM, have you done/tried that?

I did update my bios not long ago maybe couple weeks, I have not OC CPU and ram is at 2666mhz currently is that not the max as it is 2666mhz?

You can try and OC your RAM further, but mileage may vary, I'd also OC that CPU personally.

I noticed you are using an Asus motherboard which means you might have aura sync enabled rgb running. 
If this is the case try turning all the rgb off or to a static colour as I have noticed similar issues in games while aura sync is running

How do i turn this off ? I dont use the software I just allow it to use whatever default setting

You can check if it is the issue by running a game and then opening task manager in advanced view. Sort the processes by cpu usage and if aura sync is causing the issue you should see something called lighting service (i think) taking up lots of cpu resources.
To tweak it at a basic level I use Asus armoury crate, also provides updates for motherboard drivers and what not. But there is a section for aura sync in there which you can change to static.

I believe so but its getting hotter as expected alot quicker it sits at 50-55* when not  under load and reaches 60-65 under load even with a water cooler

Idle temps are a bit high, but not dangerous or too high at all. But your load temps are quite low, what cooler are you using?
