motherboard MSI B450 Gaming plus max

Hello. I bought a amd motherboard last black friday and i've had big issues with a cpu and their seller, so i just got back to my motherboard to check for any issues and found this(pictures). There are 2 holes on the top right side of the middle part that seems hollow or seem like it only has half a pin(?) I don't know much about tech components or anything, but is it supposed to be like this?

that is an Land Grid Array which the Pin Grid Array CPU poke down into. 

 

unless you run into an issue after the CPU installed, i wouldnt worry about anything.

just remember that the CPU drops in without any force. 

 

so dont shove it in.
