Any way to bypass the screen lock on an old android?

I found an old sony xperia L I was using around 2013-2014. Unfortunately I've forgotten my password and was wondering if there was any way to crack it without wiping my data. Afaik It hasnt been turned on since at least 2015 and the android and apps on it have not been updated. I'm pretty sure It's been rooted and usb debugging is probably on. Any way to crack/ brute force it? Also if this sort of post is not allowed here please let me know and I'll delete it.

Dont think there are any other way than fully resetting it. Been in that situation myself, but couldnt really figure out any other way than wiping the whole thing.
