The $140 8TB External Hard Drive by Seagate

If you are looking for some cheap or storage at some slower speeds. I think this 140 USD 8TB external hard drive is for you. I use it daily for school storage and it transfers around 200 Mb/s.  A little bit loud. You can definitely hear the heads moving and the drive spinning up and down but. It sounds pretty cool so I’m not complaining.

The amazon link link to the hard drive is here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CQJBSQL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_1.2rEb2XGDN6R

Let me know what you think.

I see something that will enable me to illegally watch a lot of movies if the army sends me on a deployment.

It's a poopy 5400RPM SMR drive, so I think I'll hard pass on that model.

The transfers are around 200Mb/s. So not dying awful but still slow.
