One monitor on gpu and one on motherboard

i have 144hz monitor that is connected to my gpu with hdmi but can i connect another 60hz monitor on my motherboard because i dont want to buy a displayport cable

It can be done, but it may *potentially* be an issue if you're on a Ryzen systems. Unfortunately, I don't know enough about Ryzen to define exactly where the issue is.

For several years, I ran a 144 off my GPU and a 60 off my 4790k, worked without issue. A friend of mine planned to do the same with his 2400g HTPC (ASRock B450m Pro), and it wouldn't allow him to. I'm not certain if it's a limitation with Ryzen or his specific board, but enabling iGPU multi monitor did nothing.

does that lower fps and makes bigger input lag
