Then it should be able to handle the 3600 safely, and that is a worthwhile upgrade.

Can u say RTX 2060 is a better combo with R5 3600 than 2600? Because now using 2600 my gaming feels stuttery. Fiest things is ram and temp problem.

IIRC, BDO got GPU Power Saving option, make sure you untick that.

Yes. There are many reports of going from a 2600 to a 3600 getting rid of microstutter, and general choppiness.

Oh thats not only me. That good tho. Tonight im playing siege with my friend. My fps gone to 59. And i changed my fov to another place. It came back to 150+ fps . I think thats a sudden throttling. First thing, my temperature isnt good for cpu. It cant boost over 3.65GHz

If you can get ahold of one, a GAMMAXX 400 is only $21 and gives better cooling performance than a Hyper 212. https://www.newegg.com/deepcool-gammaxx-400/p/N82E16835856005?&quicklink=true

That cooler keeps my overclocked 3600 under 70°c. The highest I've recorded under synthetic load is 67°c. (that is with two Arctic P12 PWM fans on it, and those fans actually cost more than the cooler itself)

Maybe i need to do something about my ambience temperature. Especially this is a tropic area. GAMMAXX > CM, then ram and new cpu.

Unless you're running it in a room with a temp over 35°c, it should stay well below the throttling temps on a GAMMAXX 400. I also highly recommend using Prolimatech PK-3 thermal paste if you can get it.

Okay i will do that, first thing is change ram, case fan, and air cooler. Then upgrade to R5 3600. Waiting for next gen coming too.

A 75Hz IPS is still pretty decent... If it was a 60Hz, I'd consider it a more important upgrade item.

Check this benchmark

I dont no what fps drops you have exactly but I dont think CPU is the problem at least not by big rate buy ryzen 3600 definitely will up performance but no more then 10fps in heavy games(on CS GO maybe more because much better IPC). About stutter... dont no maybe there is some issues but dont think cpu is the problem.

I for example got ryzen 1600 and recently buy RTX 2060 super(before that was have some video card like you GTX 1060 3GB), I dont have any stutter on CS GO or whatever. I cant pull of maximum performance with this processor but videocard also is not that powerful anyway specially for new demanding games but having pretty satisfying gaming.

On Red Dead Redemption 2 having 69 fps on benchmark everything on HIgh, I see benchmarks on this game with RTX 2060 super and 9900k they pull 78 fps on High, so I am happy with. Assassins Creed Odyssey other heavy game getting around 70 fps on very high, 9900k getting 90 fps, not bad either for me when compare with highest possible for this video card.

On CS GO before I was have like 170fps with old card now got 220fps not big difference but this is my processor power in general not need much more then 144fps anyway but if stutter that already is issue.....

for a type game same like csgo, it more like the gap between frame is too wide. It made my gameplay not smoothly from what i see.

I see your monitor 75hz even you got 144hz you still got much more fps then your monitor will support, so if dont want variable fps fix it on some value with MSI Afterburner you can set maximum experience, put for now on 75 fps because your monitor dont support more anyway you will not have any drop, because you are way too overpower for CS GO

My fps can drop to 180 fps too. I already post my afterburner before.

Easily. My system with a much more power hungry massively overclocked and overvolted 5700 XT has never even been able to hit 450W under synthetic load. (which is far higher than any game will ever take it)

There is a minor incompatibility of undiagnosable origin between the 2000 series CPUs and certain system combinations. (motherboard, RAM, and even SSD affect the stutter) One thing that always seems to fix the issue is upgrading the CPU to a 3600 or better.

RAM speed very much matters on 2nd gen Ryzen, but not quite as much on 3rd Gen. 2666 is a bit slow for modern systems though. You should be looking for 3000 with 15-15-15 timing, or 3200 with 16-16-16 timing. If you can't afford those, 3200 with 16-18-18 timing is quite good, and usually about half the price. 3600 with 16-16-16 timing is the best though.

Must change almost everything if follow your thoughts, because got motherboard 350 who does not have very good power delivery, maybe ryzen 3600 will work fine but maybe not is risk then need buy and motherboard, change and ram..... will become very expensive upgrade for minor improvement, only big improvement from such upgrade will feel in CS GO because like new ryzens - maybe 50-100fps more but on 75 hz monitor is this matter or even 144 hz.......and ram not matter that much for games is 3-4fps more is it really a deal to buy new?! If building now new computer of course buy at least 3200 mhz without think but for upgrade is not worth it

Maybe Ryzen 5 3600 and 3200mhz can do better than my 2600 handle 2060?

I see everyone using 3rd gen.

A 2nd gen ryzen cpu ideally should not have the stutters you are talking about. Try to tinker about with your ram by overclocking it or in case it doesn't help, try playing with your CPU overclock. By no means should ur ingame fps in cs go up and down with the 2600 and rtx 2060
