Hi! I'm planning to upgrade my cpu or gpu to have better gaming experience on 1080p but only have budget for 1 upgrade.

I currently have R3 2200g paired with a gtx1050ti OC.

Planning to upgrade to R5 2600 and RX 580

I want to ask if you have any better suggestions that is on the same price range?
The motherboard is MSI a320m pro vh plus (planning to change into b450 soon, i want to upgrade the cpu and gpu first)

Current specs:

R3 2200g

GTX1050ti OC

MSI A320M Pro VH Plus mobo

Seasonic M12II-620 Bronze 80 power supply.

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I mainly play PUBG, Forza Horizon 4, Farcry New Dawn, Dota, GTAO and AC Odyssey

You'll need almost an entire system upgrade....

  • CPU
  • Mobo
  • GPU
  • PSU

I'll recommend gpu upgrade first. I'll recommend something like a used vega 56, 1070, 1070 ti. They go around for about $180-220 range.

Or if you want something used in $100 price range, then RX570 goes for around $70 and RX480/580 go for around $100.

For the cpu upgrade, i'll recommend something like a Ryzen 5 1600 AF. It is basically a Ryzen5 2600 with first gen IMC. It is based on 12nm. Also, it goes for $85 on amazon.com

For PSU, I'll recommend CX/CXM series from corsair or Masterwatt series from cooler master.

For mobo, I'll recommend any one of the new max series board from msi.

Ryzen 7 3700X - ASRock X470 Taichi - G.Skill Trident Z RGB (8x2 3200MHz) - Sabrent Rocket 1TB - Seagate Barracuda 2TB - MSI GeForce GTX980Ti LIGHTNING - Fractal Design Meshify C - Super Flower Leadex ll Gold 650 Watt

Xeon X5680 - Asus SABERTOOTH X58 - Crucial (4x2 1333MHz) - Crucial MX500 500GB - Sapphire RX580 Pulse - Cougar MX330 - EVGA SuperNOVA G2 650 Watt

Acer Nitro 5 - 7300HQ - 16GB DDR4 2133MHz - GTX 1050Ti - Intel 600p Series 256GB - Samsung 860 Evo 1TB
