Help! Can't Remove GPU

Ugh, I hate working with those PCIE locks. You have to push that blue thing up a bit:

I can't remove the GPU from the pcie lock

 

Motherboard: Asus Express Gate

thats the "old pcie lock" you need to twist away from the GPU a little (up towards the cpu)

GPU drivers giving you a hard time? Try this! (DDU)

Just pull the tab backwards ("up" in the reference frame of the picture) as you pull out the card. They are really annoying, but not dangerous. Some tweezers or a screwdriver might help.

 

This is actually nice compared to the sliding locks that need to be pulled backwards to unlock. Those are luck based.
