Downgraded BIOS to the one that doesn't support my CPU.

MB: ASUS HERO XI.

I downgraded from 1302 -> 602 and now I can't boot up because this BIOS (602) doesn't support my CPU. (9900K)

I don't think I can use Flashback, the light blinks for 5 seconds and then becomes solid again. Is there any other way to save my motherboard without changing the BIOS chip or reprogramming it? Thanks in advance.

If you meant the Maximus XI Hero, it does have BIOS Flashback so you can indeed use that.

You have to make sure the BIOS file you want to use is on the root of the usb flash drive, with the correct file name and the drive has to be FAT32, not NTFS, exFAT or anything other than FAT32.

Yeah, the problem is, the button that I'm supposed to hold for 3 secs and then wait for it to finish updating, goes solid after 5 seconds... Any solution to that? I tried 4 different USBs, non of them worked.

did you make sure of the other 2 things I mentioned? drive is for sure formatted as FAT32 and the BIOS file has been renamed using the appropriate BIOS Flashback exe bundled with it?

Yes

and you made sure that you're trying to use a BIOS from your exact version of the Maximus XI Hero? The wifi or non-wifi version?
