What cpu should I upgrade to?

So guys im currently using an i7 3770 and I am upgrading next week, which cpu should i buy for gaming and video editing. I have a budget of 15k - 20k php (150 - 200 usd). Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

How about for intel? Not a fanboy but my friend keeps telling me to go for intel and not amd/ryzen because he said that he experienced a lot of problems using amd. Also what might be the problems that he's talking about?

Your friend is lazy af. I do not knwo anything about problems other that higher temps, but i have a basic post how to fix that. For 200 buck in intel you could get i5 9400f having 6 cores and 6 threads. r5 3600 has 6 cores 12 threads. r7 2700x has 8 cores 16 threads

keep in mind that for any upgrade, you'll have to change cpu, motherboard, ram. so if your total budget is 150-200$, it won't get you very far.

Wait my calculations were wrong lol?

50 php = 1 usd so my budget is less than $500 on cpu, mobo and ram

I've already planned everything and ready to order online now thanks to you guys

So I'm getting an r5 3600 thats around 11k php ($220) + not really sure on the motherboard but i think im gonna go with asus rog strix b450-f which is around 7k php ($140) and 2x8gb ddr4 3200mhz ram which is around 3500 php ($70, btw this is the cheapest i found and has a nice design/rgb design)

The x570, unfortunately, are very expensive in my country. Are x470s good? If it is, then I'll just wait maybe a few days to buy it instead of the x570. Also, the price of the r5 3600 in my country is fixed around $200 - $250

Yes, but you need to bios update them with older ryzen cpu to use the newest ryzen in them, and in the future who know that the x470 will support newer generations.

he said he wanted to upgrade in the future. I know that some where in the future b450 does not support newer cpu's. And b450 generally has poorer vram, so if you upgrade pe ready to burn your motherboard. b450 can have poorer ram capapilities and wifi cards, but not in the gih tier ones
