This happened only after you updated bios and set your ram speed to 3600?

How did you set the speed that high?  XMP?

Check for BIOS updates, a lot of people lately have had the same issue and a bios update fixed it

Yeah, most Asus boards have a BIOS flashback feature where you can load the BIOS onto a usb and plug it in a specific port that will be marked on the MOBO. After that, there's a button in the back that when you press it, it'll load the BIOS off the stick.

If you disable the ram change and put it back to stock, does the issue go away?

After disabling clock for last however longs its been almost a month, can confirm no blackscreen restarts.

So what could the problem be??

The RAM isn't stable at 3600.  Could be the board, could be the RAM.  Try and manually set the Voltage toe 1.4 and see if that solves the issue.  I had a similar issue with 3600 ram on x399 and setting it to 3400 and 1.4v solved it.

will it void warranty?

i can probably just get the ram replaced if the ram is the problem through warranty.

1.4v won't hurt the ram.  DDR4 can handle that voltage all day.

If you want to try new RAM then go for it, but they may try and say the issue is not with them, it's something else in the system.

You'll probably have to get an RMA from the manufaturer, not the store you bought it from.

In the BIOS look for something about DDR4 voltage.  It should be 1.35v under the XMP profile and 1.2 under the stock settings.  Change that to 1.4, save and reboot.

If it still crashes then returning/RMAing it is your best bet.

Good luck.
