Blinking mobo / orange power button problem

Hiya. I built a Sleeper within a Dell vostro 410 case. question is it all turns on fine but the motherboard is blinking orange and the power button is a steady orange, wondering how i can change this or fix this? Ive updated bios, unplug-hold button for 15secs-replug and still same. I heard i can just change the motheboards color but how without having rgb strips?

You need to disable hibernation for the PC to really turn off.

Wait a minute, I read "off" instead of "on". Turning off hibernation won't do.

If you want to change the colour then install Aura Sync in Windows.

Your board doesn't have RGB built in however it does have illuminated trace paths which I assume is what you can see. It's unlikely you can change it to any colour but it the manual does say it has presets and you should definitely be able to switch it off entirely.

 

Look through your bios very carefully, the options will be in there somewhere.
