i can't access router settings

You must be connected to your home network in order to manage your router. If you are on 4G you will need to switch to wireless network in settings. this message comes up

i type in my Default Gateway and the message pops up

Which router do you got? Some routers are particularly picky about how you type in the address.

Perhaps some information about your situation?

What model router? Are you on 4G? WiFi? Wired?
