two different graphics cards

Subaru555

hey all,

at the moment i am running a 1070 G1 Gaming alongside a ryzen 5 2600, and i have an old gtx950 dual windforce lying around that i was wanting to put back into the system. my question is that when i place the card in and hook it up to power, i am able to boot and post, but i never get a windows sign in screen, all i get is a black backlit screen and if i move the mouse the cursor appears. can someone help me out here in finding a solution?

okay update, just rebooted and it booted fine, but now im only running on the 950, the 1070 doesnt seem to be running, and when checking the device manager the 1070 is shown to have a yellow warning triangle on it

ideas?

also i must add that the hdmi cable is plugged into the 1070 still

Driver conflicts perhaps.

but really? Why do you want the 950 in there

But it probably won’t be used. 1070 is stronger anyway than a 950

try DDU and reinstall the driver. Not sure why would you do this but Nvidia drivers are more troublesome for these things
