BioShock remastered will not launch

So i recently got Discord Nitro, and with it came BioShock remastered. Installed it, tried to boot it up, and every time I try I receive an error message that says

 

internal error 249

0 operation completed succesfully

 

it absolutely refuses to work and I have no clue why. Help please.

Yeah so did I, just making sure. 4 eyes better than 2. Anyway, I didn't see anything. You could try starting it form the .exe instead or reinstalling. Or repairing if discord allows that. Steam lets you repair files.

I repaired then reinstalled already. still nada. starting from the exe did nothing as well

also, a lot of older games need windows C++ executables. Look around and you should find a package with all of them. I did this once and it fixed my issue in whatever game it was.

Are you by chance running your other Discord app at the same time? If so, try closing it and then launch the game.
