Can we bring our own food into the convention?

Travelling on a budget, just wondered if we could bring our own food and drinks or whether we had to purchase food on site? Some places can be funny about this so thought I'd make sure

Personally I plan on bringing a personal bottle (like a canteen) and keeping food at the hotel. I'm curious about this too though.

We have wristbands to go in and out of the convention so I suppose there's nothing to stop people just eating food outside if they can't inside

Between Waterfront Station and the con site is a pretty decent food court. It's unlikely that they'd keep food out. 

 

Also, there's Dollarama if you want to buy a cheap bottle of water (under a buck for a 1.5L) or a cheap water bottle (maybe $4).

I sure hope so, as some people have dietary restrictions, such as celiac and/or peanut allergies.
