First Arduino based mod prototype is ready. Now add leds in meters, design faceplates and assemble for case front face !

You could try to use the dials from a Cooler Master Musketeer (there's 3 versions, I reckon that version 1 or 2 will be more suitable than version 3).  That way they'll fit in a single 5.25" bay.  You'll still need to make faceplates etc though.

It's going to be hard to find one indeed.  There's none on my local Ebay, that's for sure.

Also how do you generate the output voltage? Do you just PWM the voltmeter?

You could reduce size without rewriting any code by using a arduino nano. 

Yeah collecting data using OpenHardwareMonitor and sending over serial port. Arduino just outs analog and scales data a bit. Also powers up leds and changes color by current input.

Good tip about nano thanks.

p.s.

Is it safe to power Arduino from 5V molex ?
