Analog PC stats mods WIP

You could try to use the dials from a Cooler Master Musketeer (there's 3 versions, I reckon that version 1 or 2 will be more suitable than version 3).  That way they'll fit in a single 5.25" bay.  You'll still need to make faceplates etc though.

It's going to be hard to find one indeed.  There's none on my local Ebay, that's for sure.

Temperature can be bouhgt new with the shiny silver band.

Memory is more diffcult. Maybe use a blank one and add your own labels.

Also how do you generate the output voltage? Do you just PWM the voltmeter?

You could reduce size without rewriting any code by using a arduino nano.

Yeah collecting data using OpenHardwareMonitor and sending over serial port. Arduino just outs analog and scales data a bit. Also powers up leds and changes color by current input.

Good tip about nano thanks.

p.s.

Is it safe to power Arduino from 5V molex ?

Yes.

If you want additional safety add a 100 mA or so PTC between the molex and Arduino.
