cooler master Hyper 212 EVO and Crucial ballistix tactical tracer

Hi. Will the Crucial ballistix tactical tracer ram fit with the cooler master Hyper 212 EVO air cooler. My build will have a xigmatek talon case and a Gigabyte GA-990FXA motherboard if that has anything to say. Thanks.

You can supposedly make the fan on the CM Hyper 212 EVO move up slightly to help fit RAM. I measured out Tactical Tracer and the RAM clearance on the EVO, RAM is just barely too tall/will barely fit in it's stock config. Another option is to put it in the furthest 2 RAM slots, which shouldn't really make a difference in performance. Anyway, you'll be fine.

Edit: Obviously this may prevent 4 module setups if you planned on that. I recommend going with a #x8gb kit of some sort if you want to save space.

should do, that ram isnt THAT tall, with corsair vengeance you can run  into issues but this stuff is nearly standard height, also IF you did have a problem you can remove the bottom fan bracket and it will clear, but yeah chances are itll work, otherwise nobody would be able to use that heatsink on an amd board with 80% of ram.

yes you can and it shouldnt effect performance too much but it will be so close to the rear fan its probably not worth it.

even though in my picture it doesnt look like it you can fit tall ram in the first black slot and itll work the ram will be tilted over slightly which isnt great but it works, with your ram id say it will clear it.

You can! A pull-only configuration is maybe 1-2 degrees warmer than a push configuration, from the testing I've seen. (aka, almost no difference) You just have to flip the side the brackets sit on the fan and mount it on the other side of the heatsink :D

test it before you flip it though, towers look a bit..........with a fan in pull.
