WTF is happening

Queue-Squared

A few days ago my computer started showing low performance in games. I used to get about 120 FPS in Dota but it suddenly I'm getting about 1/3 the original. I then installed Afterburner to monitor the GPU and found that the GPU clocks were pretty much staying at idle speeds, never even touched 300 core. I updated driver and everything but nothing seems to help. Windows power settings is also already on high performance.

Have you checked your thermals? It is possible that your PC may be throttling due to producing too much heat.

Newer generation MacBooks have had a lot of similar issues.

DDU is an application that you use in safe mode to wipe out all display drivers but Microsoft's generic one.

Once it's all deleted you can reinstall the driver fresh new, this usually solves all issues regarding the drivers which are a crucial part of the GPU functioning.

There are guides on YouTube.
