weird blur in games

hey, today i messed with the nvidia control pannel and i've noticed that some kind of a weird blur appeared in all of my games. i don't know how to get rid of it. my resolution is 1920x1080, 144hz and my GPU is gtx 1060 6gb.

The only thing that I did is messing with the Nvidia control panel, and that's pretty much all. Here are two screenshots for comparison:

it's really weird and the bars aren't visible as they were before, and they aren't as sharp. Please, help.

EDIT: after restoring my nvidia control panel settings to default, the problem didn't disappear and it appears that it might be something related to me messing with my windows settings. the only thing that i remember messing with is ClearType text and that's pretty much all, although I might've messed with something else. all help is appreciated, and i'm entirely sure that my monitor / gpu aren't causing the issue

I'm surprised no one else has suggested this, but I'd recommend uninstalling your Nvidia drivers and reinstalling them.

Here's a good utility that will do it for you:

 

DDU - Display Driver Uninstaller

 

That will probably fix your issue.
