pc 7.1 -> amp/s -> regular speakers

boggen

the old receiver not liking me at moment.

looking for just plain boards with a little bit of soldering for basic connections, to car amps, to cheap 7.1 receiver, to other.

if generic amp boards. i may try and go bluetooth, or wifi, cheap boards and go wireless for some of the amps.

everything is through pc itself, and end up using VLC pod cast for radio.

what other equipment i have feeds to tv, or audio into pc, then back out from pc with audio, really no longer need a receiver. just need 3.5mm jack, to amp/s, to speakers. with a set and forget volume on the amp/s. pc volume control is good enough for listen volume i normally use.

4 (150 watt) speakers (normally just run 2, the extra 2 rarely use)

4 ( 50 watt) speakers

1 ( 80 watt) center

using some pc speaker base speakers that already have amp built in.

If that is RMS then you are better off getting a cheap receiver then trying to hack with separate amplifiers per channel (or per stereo channel)

Plus it will be able to handle any codec passthrough

Plus even the cheapest will be able to handle 120W RMS per channel

thanks i guess its one of them manufacturers already built and mass produced to shove every little gain and pro into a cheaper package.

i guess asking for a wireless board + amp + each 1 to 3 speakers per speaker cabinet wired directly to amp separately, were each individual speaker can be control independent of all other speakers, is asking way to much.
