Is my Power Supply Good Enough?

sakz_128

I currently have a prebuilt PC with a GTX 1050 ti and an AMD X4 840 (huge bottleneck) running of an xilence 400W power supply. When it comes to my birthday, I am thinking of upgrading to a GTX 970 / RX 570 with a Ryzen 3 1200/2200, will I also need to upgrade my Power Supply from my Xilence 400W or can I run this system on 400W?

Thanks in Advance

I mean even if it can run you should probably upgrade that PSU anyways.I don't think I would risk it.

Xilence 400W

That's the brand, and the wattage. Not the model.

i would go with a 650w psu if you can always better to have more than you need, then not having enough.

Not what you were specifically asking for in this case but:

Note that the Ryzen 3000-series will release sometime soon and it might make the previous generations cheaper.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
