Is 1080p144hz worth it?

OnionRings

I just got a new RTX 2060, and it demolishes 1080P60 in optimized games, and was wondering if 1080P144hz is worth the money or should I just get 1440p144hz? That's more out of my budget and will take longer to get, and I also don't know if this card can handle that many frames at 1440p, but is spending 200 on a good 1080p144 worth it when you can get a 1440p144 for like 400?

2060 will struggle at 1440p. Stick to 1080p if you want high frame rate

1080p 144Hz yes, but not those cheap $200 TN panels. Unless you want to win in competitive shooters with minimal investment.

RTX 2060 won't be able to push very high framerates at 1440p outside of some super optimized/undemanding game.

That's what I figured, because It's basically a 1070 Ti.
