Arctic P12 120mm SP fan 5 pack review all 5 in use

Swapped out all the fans in my Ryzen rig (the rest of my loop setup has 1-2 months to arrive still) to having these 5 fans in it running (+GPU fans) 2 intake 1 top exhaust 2 in rear exhaust radiator push pull

Standard:

Cooler Master 120mm fan

Rosewill 120mm fan

Generic 120mm fan

 

Static Pressure:

Cooler Master 120mm SP fan (came with a 120mm radiator)

Corsair SP120 120mm fan

 

Id have to rate these Arctic Fans as: Exactly as advertised.  Priced to performance.  They aren't the best, they aren't the worst. 

 

In push or pull or push/pull - Good performance for the $$$.  The Corsairs smash it by having a much higher RPM, the Cooler Master pushes less air to same noise ratio.

As intake with thick foam dust filter - Decent, better than standard 120mm's, a little louder.  The performance of a single 200mm (Using 2x120mm intake) but louder.

As exhaust - pushes air much better than a standard fan, but louder.

 

These fans like 60% power minimum, which leave them in an audible state.  I understand they are SP fans but I like quiet - however the temperature on my new to me R9 Fury is much easier to manage overall compared to the stock fans and added fans I put in there prior.  Will leave it like this until I upgrade my case (Rosewill Nautilus) rather than do a mod I was planning.  

 

Overall, good value pack of static pressure fans...perform well on radiators.  There are better, much better - but the price matches that performance.

personally, for value, I'm a fan of NF-P12 redux, or arctic F12. I like the all black of the p12, also are the fan controller cables sleeved?

They are black wired (with 1 grey stripe on one), but not sleeved.
