Will this moniter suffice ?

That will work just fine, but if you're looking for a 1080p screen my advice would be to pick up a 24 inch screen. At 27 inches 1080p starts to become very noticeable.

I have a gtx 1070, the ASUS VG278Q is the monitor I’m currently looking at buying, it is one of the free sync monitors that supports gsync, and with my budget is the right price, I want a 144hz smooth gaming experience, is it a good idea to buy this moniter?
