certain mobo UEFI setting

hey guys, i've seen many videos where they go to the UEFI settings and set M.2 Configuration from SATA or Auto to PCIE mode, however i can not find this, i have an MSI B450M Gaming Plus, does anyone else know where i could find it in an msi UEFI?

This option is not needed - your mobo knows (detects) what type of M.2 you have connected.

What drive are you using? M.2 drives can be either SATA or PCIe (NVMe) based. It looks like this option default auto-detects what kind it is, but if there's an issue you can manually set it.

The drive is only PCIe 3.0 x2 so it isn't as fast as other NVMe drives but it still should be faster than a SATA drive. You can try setting it to PCIe Mode to see it it makes a difference, but I doubt it will.

and where do i find it in an msi bios? which is my main question :)

It probably just defaults to auto and doesn't give you the option. If it was trying to use it as a SATA drive it would likely not work at all.
