What do you guys think of this setup?

Hey guys, im not sure if this post belongs here. if not just delete.

So im trying to build a new "Gaming" pc. I built my own PC a few years back but then sold it and havent really been up to date. So now that i'm building a new rig i wanted to ask you guys if you think this is a good setup of components and or if you guys recommend any alternatives. Im not very up to date in regards to the individual components and which are best bang for the buck, where to save a dollar and where to spend an extra dollar. What was important for me ist that the rig in total was less than 1,200 Euros and that i can smoothly run somewhat demanding games like CoD BO3, League of Legends, Fortnite, Rust etc. I already own my gaming peripherals but this time around i want to invest in a good Gaming monitor. So here is the list of components i was thinking of buying. Please no hate or shade im new to Gaming components in 2019 lol.

 

Comments:

I didnt want to opt for the Intel i5 8600k because im pretty sure that it wont present a bottleneck in regards to gaming.

Im not sure if the 144Hz monitor is maybe over the top?

Any cool, simplistic, Mid tower atx chassis suggestions in the same price range?

Open to any suggestions!

I would go with that. that's actually my next upgrade is my I3-7100 and a 1050ti ti the I5-8400 and my 1050ti.

I'm gonna go find my own tech support...

with BLACKJACK and HOOKERS!

ah and you have peripherals. you could even now save for an RTX 2060 to take the place of the rx 580 in the build i suggested :)

Swap the 1050ti for this, it performs better and is cheaper

Swap that NVME SSD out for a 500GB Samsung 860 Evo, NVME SSD wont make a difference in gaming and the difference in boot times aren't significant. Not werth sacrificing 250gb of storage

Your power supply is slightly lower tier, refer to the tier list and choose something tier 3 and up. Maybe a cooler master masterwatt 550?

First of all thank you for all these sugegstions. Why is it that you suggest AMD over Intel and Nvidia? Would you say that they are more price efficient? and i have never owned or built an AMD setup . Is it as simple as nvidia with all the drivers, installation etc.?

from what i know, yes its as simple. 

 

for the AMD cpu its so much better at lower end price builds than any intel CPU right now. and they give you 12 threads 6 cores instead of 6 cores 6 threads.

however, id do the second build i posted over the first one i posted. you get a much better GPU for only 130 more for the total build.

the vega 56 is well, 56% better than the rx 580 in games and other benchmarks. 

 

and if you wanna shell out an extra 100 euro, you can get the vega 64 for 467.99 Euro. which is 72% better than the rx 580. 

 

the 1050 ti (you originally picked) vs the vega 56 - vega 56 is 184% faster

Ok then that is clearly the better option. Would you then recomment getting a freesync monitor aswell?

Swap that NVME SSD out for a 500GB Samsung 860 Evo, NVME SSD wont make a difference in gaming and the difference in boot times aren't significant. Not werth sacrificing 250gb of storage

i kinda went barely over budget... but i got you a vega 56 GPU with a triple fan cooler... 

this monitor has freesync so it would work with your vega 56 in this build. just make sure not to skimp out on the ram. get 3000mhz sticks, and get at least 2 of them. ryzen needs it.
