Anyone ever have issues with AIO's

I've always heard people complain about the reliability of aios, so I was wondering how many people. Have had issues in the past.

I have had 4 in total and 2 that are still in use. Never had any issues even with the one I had in the garage crushed by boxes for around 2years.

So anyone have any horror stories?

Kraken X62 coolers have an abnormally high failure rating, I've seen a ton of posts where the pump failed on those.

I've only had one AIO, the Corsair H55. I sold it to my friend when I upgraded to Ryzen, and it's still going strong for him. I'd recommend Corsair AIOs to anybody looking to get into watercooling but doesn't want to build their own loop.

Most i have seen fail was 4 to 6 years old,Or they bought the cheapest thing called a aio they could find. And it leaked or the pump died fast on it.

I've had a h100i on my FX8350 since early 2014 and it is still going strong. The other day I had an overheat shutdown but as soon as I moved my PC to a location with better airflow and re applied thermal compound it is fine. Idle temps around 35-40c and load from 50-60c. These are a bit higher than when I first installed it though.

AMD FX 8350, ASUS Sabertooth 990fx R2.0, Crucial Ballistix Tracer 4x4GB 1866, PNY GTX780, Corsair HX850, Phantom 630, Samsung 120GB SSD, WD Black 2TB HDD

Rest in peace, legend.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, Gigabyte RTX 3070, 32GB RAM, 4TB Samsung SSD, and a crippling depression that causes me to buy games and not play them lol

I dont have any issues with them aside from price/performance. Sure they have the added poitns of failure, but thats not my main concern.

240mm and smaller AIO's are simply not worth it in most builds, with the exception of SFF builds.

280mm AIO's are arguable, and 360mm do have better performance than air coolers but are usualy much more expensive and fit in less casses.

Corsair has given me several issues from noises (Rad) to buggy software (H150i), I returned them (2 computers in household) and got the NZXT x72. The x72 hasn't given me any issues over the past year (Day after it was released). I'm now (currently)working on EK custom loop but would use NZXT again and my son continues to use. I had the previous Corsair model and can't say I had an issue however.
